Hi, I’m Tahmina. I’ve been living in South Korea for over five years.
I first came to Korea in 2021 as an international student and earned my master’s degree from Seoul National University, ranked No. 1 in South Korea in the QS World University Rankings 2027. Since then, I’ve gone through several visa and residency processes, built my career, taught in Korea, and made Korea my home.
When I began my journey, I had to research everything myself—from universities, scholarships, and visa requirements to job opportunities, housing, applications, and everyday life. The information was often scattered across different websites, difficult to understand, or available only in Korean.
That experience inspired me to create the practical resources I wish I’d had when I was starting out.
Today, I combine my personal experience with careful research to help others understand their options, avoid common mistakes, and make informed decisions about their own journey to Korea.
